Plans between Aberfeldy Golf Club and Aberfeldy RFC to develop the current golf club site to develop a multi sports and activity complex for the whole community are beginning to really accelerate.

With the support of many other local sports clubs and organisations we held an open day at the Golf Club today revealing our plans. This was very well attended and the feedback extremely positive. A brand new £million pound complex is the aim and we are already well on our way……….

Have recently received £500,000 conditional funding from SSE Renewables and The Gannochy Trust we are now able to embark on the next stage of our fund raising and with the help of Iain Struthers Photography were able to show our promotional video at the Golf Club this afternoon.

Thanks to John Swinney MSP who also attended this morning to view the plans and video. He was again very optomistic and keen to offer his support, commenting on how this facility would benefit not just sport in the area but the general health and well being of the whole community.
